The Patrouille de France’s technical services include nearly 40 mechanics divided into 3 specialties:
Vector mechanics, code name Méca 21: they are responsible for the mechanics of the aircraft and engines,
Avionics mechanics, code name Mecha 22: they are specialists in electrical systems and instrument panel measurement tools,
Equipment mechanics, code name Mecha 23: they are in charge of survival equipment, harnesses, parachutes, ejection seats and also the positioning of smoke pods.
