WATCH CARE

Home / Watch care

After any purchase, we invite you to carefully keep the box of your watch, as well as all its original documents (warranty, certificate, invoice, user manual…). It’s also important to keep any extra parts, such as bracelet links, which can be very useful when reselling, exchanging or passing on your watch.

To preserve the brilliance of your watch, we recommend that you use a soft brush soaked in warm soapy water and brush gently (this maintenance is only possible if your watch is water-resistant to at least 50 meters). Then rinse the watch thoroughly in fresh water and dry it with a soft cloth. We particularly recommend this operation after swimming in a pool or the sea.

We also recommend avoiding prolonged contact with water to ensure the longevity of your leather straps.

Contact with greasy substances, cosmetics and prolonged exposure to sunlight should be avoided, as they could rapidly deteriorate your watch’s seals.

It’s important to protect your watch from any shocks, and to avoid strenuous activities such as DIY or dynamic sports while wearing it.

As with any mechanical device, the movement of an automatic watch should not remain idle for too long. This is to prevent the lubricant from drying out and causing the mechanism’s gears to seize.. Wear your watches at least once a quarter, if only to wind the barrel completely. Also, if you have a large collection, we recommend the use of an automatic watch winder.

Finally, we recommend that you have your watch serviced by the brand, or by a competent watchmaker, every 3 to 5 years.
