Models in the HIRSCH 300 m Water-Resistant series can be worn in water without worry as they lose their color, shape, smoothness or aesthetics. Certainly, the straps get wet but absorb significantly less water thanks to the hydrophobic tanning combined with the HIRSCH technology of the ruffled and a waterproof crown and dry much faster than the straps made in a leather tanned in the traditional way.
