The Japanese factory unveils the second version of its best seller, the Orient Mako 3 RA-AA0003R, also known as AA0003R. Usually chosen as the best alternative to the Orient Ray, the Orient Mako 3 was conceived and thought thanks to the feedback the owners of the first model (the Orient Mako Collection) gave.

PRESENTATION
The watch has the same properties as its sister (day/date indicator, unidirectional glass, resistant construction, waterproof up to 200m). It is part of the Seiko “Diver watches” category.
However there is a small detail that distinguishes it from the Mako one, on the hour indication: Arabic numerals stand for the geometric forms of the Orient Way, and are covered of LumiBrite – a phosphorescent material – which enables you to read hour even in a dark place…
ATTENTIVE TO CLIENTS
Usually criticized for its 2nd crown on the 2nd hour, the second version had a little lifting, which made its lines more fluent, less cluttered.

The watch was a birthday present, but it arrived too slowly. Naturally, after the birthday passed. The advertised delivery on the website was 3-8 days, it was delivered to me in 15-16 days. The watch had the protective film peeled off the face and almost peeled off the chain. The box was not closed properly and was resting on the face of the watch.

Fast delivery & neatly packaged. Nice little gift included. I.m.o. the design changes on the new 3rd gen Mako dial, works well, and is an improvement on previous models. The new arrow hour hand also looks great. Beautiful deep red dial.

This new-generation Mako honors the Orient brand, with the brand’s quality-price ratio having once again hit hard.
The very sun-kissed cherry dial with its affixed indexes is a feast for the eyes. Note that on this version 3, Orient has somewhat relaxed the clicks of the bezel, making it much easier to use without turning for any reason. A success.
