The name Seastrong – which could be translated as “robust sea” was not chosen by chance. Because this Alpina also known under the code name AL-525G4H6, is an incredibly innovative watch for its time, intelligently combining know-how and know-how.
This is one of the few (really) waterproof watches of the brand, resistant to 300 meters or 30 atmospheres, thanks in particular to its rotating bezel located under the glass. In addition to giving it a vintage style, this technology offers the advantage of total waterproofness, avoiding any breach between the crown and its case.

PRESENTATION
This Alpina watch from the Heritage Diver collection lives to the rhythm of an AL-525 automatic movement (which is actually from a Selitta base) of great precision. Its robust stainless steel case 42 mm in diameter, 13 mm thick, gives it an “Old School” look that will appeal to fans of neo-vintage timepieces …
On the back of the case, there is an interesting engraving: a fork leaning against a mountain, reminiscent of the Swiss origins of the brand, implemented the slogan “Alpina 1883 GENEVA”, as a nod to HERITAGE transmitted by its founder and visionary Mr. Gottlieb Hauser.
DETAILS
The very straight lines of the hands and indexes reinforce the retro style of the watch. As for the colors, the contrast between the anthracite gray dial and the blue night of the bezel make the design of the case original and paradoxically very current.
The legibility of the indexes and hands is accentuated by a Luminova treatment; a non-radioactive and phosphorescent component making the reading of the time legible, even in the darkest recesses …
PROUDLY LABELED SWISS MADE
The appearance of this automatic watch is deeply marked by two characteristics that make it special:
– The sapphire crystal, made in Switzerland, is both domed and reinforced. We also find the engraving at the bottom of the case mentioned above.
– The double crown of the Seastrong gives it an innovative design and seals the product. The first crown located at 2 o’clock allows the adjustment of the internal telescope. The second, in turn, has the classic function of setting hours.
Finally, we find at 3 o’clock a date complication, always very useful in everyday life.
