Each REC watch includes unique pieces recovered and recycled from iconic and irreparable cars. A concept that the Danish team has named RECOVER, RECYCLE, RECLAIM – or REC, for short.
Due to patina variations in recycled dials, all REC watches are visibly unique, have their own story to tell and include references to the design of the car from which it is derived.
REC watches are a perfect blend of distinctive styles, subtle references, high-end handmade components and truly unique tales!

The P-51 collection is a mechanical watch with a dial cut directly from a recovered classic Mustang. Each timepiece has a unique rendering and story.
A UNIQUE HISTORY
The P-51 has over 50 years of history captivated in its case.
Paying tribute to the Ford Mustang of the 1960s, the dial is made from vintage Mustang pieces, offering several references to the mythical American Muscle Car, including this energy gauge located at 12 o’clock or the central time taking again the design of a speedometer …
NO CAR HAS BEEN DAMAGED
DURING THE CREATION
The two founders of REC watches are as fanatical about watches as cars. Therefore, no cars were damaged in the recovery process. The REC watches only use used cars that are completely wrecked… and therefore irreparable.
Mustang’s iconic rear lights are subtly laser engraved on the right side of the P-51 Collection.
Some will say that these lights are as emblematic as the Fuchs wheels of the Porsche 911. In fact, you will still find them today on the new generation of Mustang!
ENGINE
The 9130 automatic movement in the P-51 collection is provided by the world-renowned manufactory, Miyota. With an average power reserve of 40 hours, you will never run out of energy!
DIAL
Metal dial made by hand from a recycled Mustang. Each dial is covered with a transparent layer of lacquer ensuring that the patina does not “spread” to other parts of the watch.
