Orient Star, the high-end brand of the Japanese Manufacture presents its latest collection, the Orient Star Modern Skeleton RE-AZ0001S. A real elegant timepiece, which has the versatility of an Executive and a Sporty watch that can be worn in the office or in our daily lives.
Orient Star Modern Skeleton Limited Edition RE-AZ0001S
Presentation
The Orient Star Modern Skeleton is cleverly decorated with a skeletonized aperture offering a deep exposure to the heart of the watch and its mechanism. Each beat is thus visible in detail, giving this timepiece that much appreciated singularity…
At 12 o’clock, there is a power reserve complication offering the wearer a precise indication of how much time the movement has left to run without further energy input.
In addition to its elegance and its level of finishing of the most bluffing, Orient Star accompanies its timepiece of a mechanics of exception:
A movement Cal. F8B62 movement with unique characteristics is grafted onto it, offering the possibility of winding the mechanism manually by means of the crown located at 3 o’clock.
Last but not least, the movement is equipped with a stop second function and a 70-hour power reserve. This allows the seconds hand to be stopped when the watch is set, making it easy to calculate the “daily gain/loss” differential of the mechanical movement.
Details, Quality and Finishes
This semi-skeleton has 3 details allowing it to definitely belong to the high-end category of automatic timepieces:
- Presence of a sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflection is making the time readable in any condition.
- The case has a transparent glass bottom, allowing the wearer to observe the mechanism in any condition.
- Crown, oscillating weight and clasp engraved with “Orient Star” logo.
Finally, the last detail very useful in everyday life, remains the waterproofness of this 41 mm watch: 50 meters. It helps resist any rainwater, hand washing and even showers! Enjoy
