Presentation
The watch designed and intended for passionate travelers, the Orient Polaris GMT is the first timepiece of the Manufacture equipped with the Caliber “40P51”, offering a GMT hand independent of the main hour hand.
Setting the second time zone is very simple. It’s done by pulling the crown by two notches, then turning it anticlockwise. Clockwise meanwhile, allows a quick adjustment of the date.
Once set, the GMT hand will inform you of the exact time of the second time zone with ease and clarity, thanks in particular to the 24-hour markings placed at the ends of the dial.

The 3 complications of this model are intelligently covered with a sapphire crystal, resistant to small scratches of everyday life. On the back, the mineral glass of the case is transparent. It offers the wearer of the watch the pleasure of admiring the mechanism in action at any moment …
The 40P51 manufacture movement also offers two other qualities appreciated by watchmakers: a stop-second and manual winding. The first allows an adjustment and a precise measurement of the time, the second, a reassembly of the power reserve by means of the crown located at 3 o’clock.
Finally, we appreciate the waterproofness at 50 meters and the leather strap, mounted on a butterfly clasp, guaranteeing the wearer more security and comfort in its daily use …
