The Bambino collection of the Orient house is no longer to present. Essential for its style, elegance and simplicity, it is now on the podium of watches favored by the brand’s customers. It is in the continuity of the successes of the last two versions that the Japanese manufacture presents us its last-born: Orient Bambino 5 RA-AC0004S10B, also known under the name RA-AC0004S.
Orient Bambino – 5th Version
Pure dial, almost minimalist, unique mirror effect due to the special treatment of the color of the dial, mineral glass dome making the Bambino Collection so recognizable, the look of this automatic is surely one of the most successful of the range “Classic” of Orient Watch …
Here, the indexes with rounded ends replace the Roman numerals of the second version, the triangular indexes of the first and the sticks of the fourth edition.
The color of the dial alone characterizes the charm of the V5: a bright white, enhanced by silver-colored indexes and golden hands, is charmingly dressed with a steel bracelet.
Corrected weak point
One of the main weak points of quality watches at less than 300 euros remains their bracelets. Often neglected, they represent for the watch brands a source of expensive expenses, which can easily be reduced by proposing a robust steel bracelet.
It meets an important requirement of watchmaking enthusiasts looking for a bracelet to wear, elegant and can hold over time …
Manual and automatic winding
Presence of a stop-second
This Bambino would be like his home without a highly qualitative movement, showing a strong attention to the heart of the product. Orient Watch has naturally implemented its new “In-house” movement, the F67 Caliber, in order to upgrade its latest collections.
This movement enjoys very popular functions in watchmaking, manual winding and stop-seconds. The manual winding performed by turning the crown recharges the movement of the watch with 40 hours of power reserve.
The stop-second meanwhile, allows an accurate measurement of the ratio gain-loss of the watch by causing the total stop of the second when setting the time of the watch.
These improvements have certainly placed the Orient Bambino 5 as one of the best watches in the classic style of the watch market between € 100 and € 250, making no concessions on the aesthetics of its best-known model!
