PRESENTATION
The first thing that any lover of beautiful tocantes will probably notice is this vintage grey dial, on which are superimposed old white indexes, allowing easy reading of the time.
One detail, however, makes the difference with Le Jour, which can be found on the time indication. Geometric shapes replace Arabic numerals greatly increasing the luminescence of the watch. Enough to make it admirable day and night …
Another interesting point, this male jewel is equipped with a crown of a relatively large, almost disproportionate size. The watchmakers and designers of the brand have chosen to remain faithful to the aviator watches of the Second World War, benefiting from wide and thick crowns …
Finally, we will appreciate the genuine leather strap of very good strength, highlighting with the greatest success the brushed case of the watch, as well as the sapphire crystal known to be scratch-resistant.
LISTENING TO CUSTOMERS
Often criticized for his second crown at 3 o’clock, the second version offered a slight facelift making his features more fluid, less crowded.
The Vintage collection is optimized by the Swiss automatic SW200 movement. Flying at 28,800 vibrations per hour: 4Hz, 25 jewels, this movement of eternal precision and high precision is one of the most reliable automatic movements.
A sturdy robust leather strap fits the wrist of the user but is perfect for bracelets.
INCREASED ACCURACY
The SW200 movement also offers two other qualities appreciated by watchmakers: a stop-second and manual winding. The first allows an adjustment and a precise measurement of the time, the second, a reassembly of the power reserve by means of the crown located at 3 o’clock.
Measuring 45 mm in diameter and 14 mm in thickness, the watch offers a water resistance of 100 m in a relatively compact marine grade stainless steel body. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal lens offers durability and clarity of vision.
Finally, we will appreciate the super-luminova applied on the main hands and the indexes.
