A Laco is more than a watch. It is an expression of character. Because, no matter whether you wear a robust aviator watch, a precise chronograph or a timelessly elegant classic on your wrist: each Laco has a unique character, which is distinguished by the love of detail and passion, with which our watchmakers built it: with complex and sophisticated craftsmanship.
Hand craftsmanship instead of industry is the credo of the German’s brand. That was the way it was when the company was founded, in 1925, and it’s more relevant today than ever before…

Robust, versatile and bright in the dark: a scorpion has the qualities necessary to thrive in many environments. The same goes for this Laco model, which is also suitable for a wide range of applications. This is why the watch is also equipped with appropriate markings: a raised pattern in the shape of a scorpion.
It combines practical features with sophisticated looks. It fulfills its potential in a variety of different contexts. From mountains to tropical rainforests and desert, this flexible sports watch is ready to be used daily in outdoor environments. The names of the four models reflect its purpose, namely Himalaya, Amazonas, Atlantik and Mojave.

PRESENTATION
The first thing that will be noticed by all lovers of beautiful tocantes is probably this matt black dial, on which is superimposed indexes dyed orange & white, allowing an easy reading of the time.
By taking a close look at the dial, we notice that the indexes are not the only ones to be treated with this component, but that the hour, minute and second hands are also provided.
Another interesting point, this male jewel is equipped with a crown of a relatively large size, almost disproportionate. The watchmakers as well as the designers of the brand have made the choice to remain faithful to WWII airmen’s watches, benefiting from large and thick crowns …
This detail was a condition sine qua non pilots operating the controls and the handle with thick gloves, who had to be able to reassemble their watches or set the time, without having to remove their equipment.
Finally, we appreciate the nylon strap of great strength, highlighting with the greatest success the brushed case of the watch, as well as sapphire crystal deemed scratchproof.
GERMAN MANUFACTURING: SWISS MOVEMENT
The Laco Squad Mojave RB is equipped with a well known movement, ETA 2824.2. Solid all-round, it allows an automatic winding of the watch but not only: it also benefits from manual winding and a stop-second.
The first allows a reassembly of the movement via the crown located at 3 o’clock; turning it vertically.
The stop-second meanwhile, guarantees a total stop of the seconds hand when the crown is pulled two notches.
Finally, we will appreciate one last detail; which is a real pleasure for any lover of beautiful mechanics, namely a scorpion embossed & engraved. This allows the wearer to appreciate the logo in any condition … And at any time: Enjoy!
