PRESENTATION
The first thing that any hobbyist will notice is probably this matte black dial, on which is superimposed a bright and bold white index outline, allowing easy reading of the time. After exposure to the sun or bright light, a punchy green spring indexes, obtained by a phosphor component called Luminova. This non-radioactive component allows optimal readability under multiple conditions, especially in the darkest recesses.
By taking a close look at the dial, we notice that the indexes are not the only ones to be treated with this component, but that the hour, minute and second hands are also provided.
Finally, we appreciate the stainless steel bracelet of great strength, highlighting with the greatest success the brushed case of the watch, and the mineral glass known for its impact resistance.
MANUFACTURING & MOVEMENT NIPPON
The Citizen Promaster 200 m NY0085-86EEM is equipped with a well-known movement, the Caliber 8206. It has a rock solid, it allows an automatic winding of the watch but not only: it also benefits from a winding manual!
That allows a winding of the power reserve by the crown at 8 o’clock, offering the opportunity to the owner of the timepiece to recharge its movement … even when the watch is not worn.
