PRESENTATION
This spectacular seal can be achieved thanks to two technical and essential elements: a helium valve and a screw-down crown.
– The helium valve is located at 9 o’clock. This lets the gas escape when the watch rises to the surface after being subjected to pressure from the depths.
– The crown, meanwhile, is located at 3 o’clock. Once aimed, it ensures a total seal against the timepiece.
JAPANESE AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT
Under the hood, there is a Japanese Miyota 9015 . Resistant and precise, it has 24 jewels and offers a power reserve of about 40 hours.
Its great quality is that it has two winding modes: automatic of course, but also manual, thanks to the crown on the right of the case. Lovers of precision will also appreciate the stop-second, allowing the second hand to stop once it is pulled out.
This movement also has a date complication located at 3 o’clock, very practical on a daily basis. Everything is carefully protected by a reinforced sapphire crystal, which also has an anti-reflection treatment! Another pleasant detail, the 120 clicks bezel is made of ceramic, which makes it scratch-resistant and will give it remarkable shine over time.
